Australian OFLC Classifies Rondo of Blood for Virtual Console

Dracula X: Rondo of Blood arrived on the Japanese Virtual Console way back in April 2008. Since then North American fans have waited patiently for a localized release of their own, but have had no luck. It still hasn't been confirmed for the North American VC, but there's at least a glimmer of hope for the faithful.

Nintendo Life is reporting that Rondo of Blood has been rated by the Australian OFLC review board, suggesting that an overseas release will be arriving sooner than later. A western release had previously been considered unlikely due to the release of The Dracula X Chronicles on the PSP.

With the game evidently set to be released on the Australian Virtual Console though, the chances of a North American release seem exponentially higher. We'll keep an eye out for word of a release over here.
